By participating in Naelthira in any way, you are agreeing to the following terms. Feel free to contact an admin for clarification. This is considered a cooperative author agreement.
Meta Data
The basic foundations of the setting will always remain the property of the site’s founder. This includes things such as the basis of Naelthira and the Chrystalis Universe, the Rhysalions and their faction, including their story history, and other articles considered part of the fabric of the multiverse. Contributors (Adventurers) are welcome to modify, build upon, and participate in the evolution of that foundation within the confines of the site and authorized roleplay locations such as writing pads and Discord.
Meta Includes:
- The Chrystalis Universe and the Quaen Universe
- Foundation species created by the founders, as well as nations and their associated reference articles
- Any creation by Andrew, Kim, Winter, and Jayden
- The stories written cooperatively within the framework of Naelthira
Factions
If you create a faction, it is considered your property, and the articles attached to it (technology, culture, etc), written by you, are your property.
If you leave the site and wish to have your content removed, you will be asked to enter mediation with the site’s founder so that creations can be removed properly without affecting the foundation of the site or the creations of others. References to Naelthira should be removed if utilized on other platforms, or credit should be appropriately given. Please do not copy and paste from this site. The stories created within the multiverse are also considered your property, but will not be removed from the site upon your exit, especially those that include interactions with other Adventurers and founders.
Characters
When you create a character, it is considered your property. You are welcome to write, modify, or present the character on other platforms. We, however, encourage you to use your characters in Naelthira and be part of the stories we are building.
Similar to factions, if you leave the site and wish to have your content removed, you will be asked to enter mediation with the site’s founder so creations can be removed properly without affecting the foundation of the site or the creations of others. References to Naelthira should be removed if utilized on other platforms, or credit should be appropriately given. Abandoned Creations
If you depart the site and you have not gone through the process described above, your creations will be marked as abandoned and will remain as a historical reference or archived on the site until you contact the founders to request a course of action. Factions and Characters may only be adopted or transferred to another party with direct written permission from the original creator of that content.
Bringing Content to Naelthira
When you bring creations to Naethlira, they should be as follows:
- Your original property, written by you.
- Not from copyrighted content of another sort. (Things from movies, tv, books, anime, etc.) This site is homebrew it is not the place for fan fiction.
- We prefer that any of your creations brought from other cooperative writing or roleplaying platforms be rebooted to fit the Naethlira Multiverse. We also prefer you not copy and paste things from other sites to this one. This will be discussed with the founders.
- Oftentimes, we refer to other platforms in the context of being another universe. We prefer, when possible you do not mention the names of platforms and their content that are not your property.
Commercial Use
If you intend to use your own creations (Your factions, characters, etc.) for commercial use, they are your property to do so. Any reference to Naelthira or the creations of others should firstly have credit given and secondly, have the written consent (by email) of their respective creators. The founders of this site will also follow this agreement with respect to the utilization of your creations.
